APRIL 18, 2020. — it was bake a cheesecake kind of day! 💕 Still in quatrain mode..ugh. But this was sooo much fun because I got to watch Wyll (hubby) take the lead while he assisted our children with making a successful strawberry cheesecake and as for me, I just took a few pics. Hehe. This was definitely a great way to bond with the family but also a great way to teach the children about LISTENING, paying ATTENTION to details and FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS. Starting with the gram cracker crumbs and melting butter, to mixing heavy whip cream, sour cream and baking it all together. The kitchen was a mess but it was complete. I told the kids that life can be a beautiful mess and in order to take control of the things that we can, we must LISTEN to our intuition, pay ATTENTION to the details that cause our lives to be challenging but mostly importantly...put some INSTRUCTIONS together for yourself. Depending on what those instructions are could help you eliminate certain problems. In reaction to this, my kids said to me “whoaaa mom, good example”. Oh and the cheesecake was delicious and we enjoyed it. Just like we are enjoying life. I think it’s safe to say my work here is done...well not really! Lol. I’ve also attached an easy recipe that we used from Food Network in case you’d like to try it. See below!
