MARCH 30, 2020 . . . the first day of online school. Not too bad for a Monday. The kids normally wake up at 6:15 in the morning, moving slow as molasses. Then, I start building up an attitude with frustration as I’m rushing them to get ready. But this time hubby and I working from home too. We get to have a mimosa while working too! I’m sure you can see why its not so bad for a Monday, lol. I’m pleased to know that my kids teachers are well prepared and move pretty quickly to upload lessons online.
ALL HATES OFF TO THEM! Jeremiah (my son) is in fourth grade...do you think they’ll cut him some slack? Nope, he still has a tone of work to do, even online. Fourth grade is a BIG DEAL people, smh. As you can see, he clearly doesn’t want to be bothered. He’s focused. Leilani (my daughter), her teacher makes the class do something called, Morning Movement. Before they get to work, they move around, stretch, and open their minds to start the day. What a thoughtful thing to do with second graders.
So here it is...my first blog, my thoughts, my feelings and probably the same emotions of others. This post occurs when the world is experiencing an outbreak of a pandemic virus....
SERIOUSLY...there are many people freaking out amid #COVID19. While others are calm and just chillin. Some have lost hours at work or lost their jobs. While others are required to work more and put their life on the line for others. Many cases have been reported and many have died. During a world wide crisis, there’s still LAUGHTER, PANIC, HAPPINESS and SADNESS. A circle of EMOTIONS that keeps going around. We are all feeling some type of way. Let’s take a moment to think AND BREATH. Remember how blessed we are despite our situations. Please comment, like and share this post. Positive words can go a long way and help those who feel like there is no hope.
